Mark Sullivan

Mr Sullivan, BSc, the founder and Director of Medicines Development Limited, has 18 years experience in the development of small molecules, therapeutic and prophylactic vaccines and microbicides.
Mr Sullivan was formerly with GSK in London for 10 years, Gilead Sciences in San Francisco for 3 years, and University of New South Wales (where he remains a Research Fellow) for 3 years.
Mr Sullivan has a clinical research background which encompasses first-in-man studies, proof-of-concept studies, pivotal phase 2 and 3 studies, regulatory submission (two New Drug Applications with the FDA/Marketing Authorisation Applications through the EMEA), phase 3b and phase 4.
Mr Sullivan has worked on three development programs that have progressed through successful registration, namely 3TC for HIV (phases 1 to 3), and 3TC (phases 2 to 4) and adefovir dipivoxil for chronic hepatitis B (phases 3 to 4) including global registration.
