Mr Craig Estwick, BCom, Grad Cert Strat Mgt, MTM, FAICD, JP, is a graduate of the University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology. Prior to leaving the accounting profession in 2000 after 25 years, he was a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, serving a period as a state councillor.

Since 2000 Mr Estwick has pursued two paths; one focusing on the commercialisation of new technologies and one involving corporate governance. Both paths have overlapped at times.

Consulting to a wide range of technology organisations has involved raising grant funds, pursuing private equity and venture capital, and providing assessments on the commercialisation potential of specific technologies to a variety of organisations, including tertiary institutions and public companies. Mr Estwick has been, and still is, an investor in early-stage technology ventures.

Mr Estwick's board roles have included writing strategic plans, developing board charters, instigating management team key performance indicators and remuneration packaging, and chairing board sub-committees.

Mr Estwick's current roles include: Chairperson, since formation in 2002, of Queensland-based Q-Pharm Pty Limited, one of the four major first-in-humans and bioequivalence clinical trials companies in Australia; Chairperson of Wesley Corporate Health, Telstra Queensland 2006 Business of the Year and premier provider of weight management and health solutions to individuals and corporations; and Chairperson of two divisions of Brisbane City Council engaged in operations as diverse as engineering services, civil construction, quarries, and asphalt plants.
